Statement of Compliance

Last updated 23 September 2026

This statement sets out plainly what Astrid does, what it does not do, and the basis on which it is offered.

Who we are

Astrid is operated by Astrid Intelligence Plc, a public limited company registered in England and Wales.

Software, not a financial service

Astrid is non-custodial software. It reads public blockchain data and prepares transactions that you review and sign in your own wallet.

  • We never hold, control or have access to your private keys or your assets.
  • We cannot move, freeze, reverse or recover a transaction.
  • We do not accept deposits, hold client money, or keep balances for anyone.
  • We do not execute, match or route orders as a broker or agent, and we are never your counterparty.
  • We do not give investment advice or personal recommendations.

The networks Astrid connects to, including Bittensor, are public and permissionless. They are run by independent validators and participants, not by us, and they work the same with or without Astrid.

No fees

Astrid charges no fee. No amount is added to or taken from your trades, swaps, bridges or stakes by our software, and we run no referral or reward scheme.

You still pay the costs others set: network gas, bridge fees, the fees of the pools and routing services a trade uses, and the price impact of the trade. The app shows these before you sign wherever it can read them.

Staking and validators

On Bittensor, holding a subnet's alpha means having it staked to a validator hotkey. Direct trades made through Astrid are staked to:

5ELREhApbCahM7FyGLM1V9WDsnnjCRmMCJTmtQD51oAEqwVh

Purchases routed from another chain through the pooled staking contract are staked to that contract's own hotkey:

5FyUNRQ26cvNwCPGobiNiabcVsRksczDE8mKxHvQSebNEBcD

Validators can charge a take on the emissions a position earns. The take is set on chain, can change, and can be checked by searching the hotkey on a public explorer such as taostats.io. Your position is always yours: you can unstake or move it to any other validator with any compatible wallet or tool.

Regulatory position

Astrid Intelligence Plc is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Using Astrid is not covered by the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

We do not offer incentives to trade, and we do not target our content at any person in a jurisdiction where offering it would be unlawful. You must not use Astrid if you are subject to sanctions, or if using it is unlawful where you are. See the terms of use.

Risk warning

Don't invest unless you're prepared to lose all the money you invest. This is a high-risk investment and you should not expect to be protected if something goes wrong.

  • Cryptoasset prices can fall sharply and quickly, and subnet alpha can be thinly traded.
  • Smart contracts, bridges and networks can fail or be exploited.
  • Transactions are final once confirmed.
  • Validator behaviour, network upgrades and governance changes can affect returns.
  • Tax rules may apply to every trade you make.

Your data

There are no accounts and no identity checks. Analytics runs only with your consent and never includes wallet addresses or transaction hashes. See the privacy policy and cookie policy.
