Terms of Use

Last updated 23 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Astrid Intelligence Plc ("we", "us"). They apply when you use the Astrid website and app. If you do not agree to them, do not use Astrid.

1. Who we are

Astrid is operated by Astrid Intelligence Plc, a public limited company registered in England and Wales.

2. What Astrid is

Astrid is software. It reads public blockchain data, shows it to you, and prepares transactions for you to review and sign in your own wallet. It works with Bittensor, a public, permissionless network that we do not operate, and with other public networks and smart contracts.

  • We never hold your private keys, seed phrase or funds, and we cannot move, freeze or recover them.
  • Every transaction is created, signed and submitted by you, from your wallet.
  • We do not act as your broker, agent, adviser or counterparty, and we do not execute trades on your behalf.
  • We do not open accounts, take deposits or hold client money.

3. Fees

We charge no fee for using Astrid. Nothing is added to your trades, swaps, bridges or stakes by us.

Costs set by others still apply and are shown before you sign where the app can read them: network gas, bridge fees charged by the bridge, fees charged by the pools and routing services a trade passes through, and the price impact of the trade itself.

4. Staking and validators

On Bittensor, buying a subnet's alpha stakes it to a validator hotkey. Direct trades made through Astrid are staked to the hotkey named on our compliance page. Validators can charge a take on the emissions a position earns. The take is set on chain, can change, and can be checked on public explorers. You can move or unstake your position at any time using any compatible wallet or tool.

5. Eligibility

By using Astrid you confirm that:

  • you are at least 18 years old;
  • you are not a person or entity named on, or owned or controlled by anyone named on, a UK, UN, EU or US sanctions list;
  • you are not located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or territory subject to comprehensive UK or US sanctions;
  • using this kind of software is lawful where you are.

6. Risks

Don't invest unless you're prepared to lose all the money you invest. This is a high-risk investment and you should not expect to be protected if something goes wrong.

Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. You may lose some or all of your assets through market movements, smart contract faults or exploits, bridge failures, network congestion, validator behaviour, changes to the networks themselves, or mistakes in the transactions you sign. Read our compliance statement for more on the risks.

7. No advice

Prices, charts, yields and other figures are shown for information. They come from public chain data and third-party sources and may be delayed or wrong. Nothing in Astrid is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

8. Third-party services

Some routes use contracts and services we do not control, such as bridges, pools, routing services and lending markets. We are not responsible for how they operate. Their own terms may apply.

9. Your responsibilities

  • Keep your wallet, keys and recovery phrase safe. Anyone who has them can take your assets.
  • Check every transaction in your wallet before you sign it.
  • Comply with the laws that apply to you, including tax.
  • Do not misuse the site, attack it, or use it to break the law.

10. Availability and changes

The software is provided as it is and as available. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use Astrid after a change means you accept it.

11. Our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of assets, profits, data or opportunity, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of Astrid, from the networks and contracts it connects to, or from any third-party service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
