Both addresses are the same account. The ss58 form is how Subtensor names your EVM key, so TAO withdrawn to it arrives as your balance on chain 964.
Backing
Alpha tokens are ERC20 claims on stake held by the StakingManager contract under its own mirror coldkey. One share is worth the alpha per share shown in the table, which rises as emissions accrue to the pool.
The contract owner can currently change that coldkey and upgrade the contract, so this is trusted custody of the backing stake, not of your token. A timelock on the owner is specified in the revised PRD and is not deployed yet. Until it is, this panel states the assumption rather than hiding it.
